The goal of Gotham Rocks is simple: get the best rock bands in the Northeast in front of the most relevant music industry professionals in the country. This is accomplished through web promotion, street teams, promotional CDs, but the most important (and most fun) way is through our live showcases held at Blender Theater, Crash Mansion and Six Flags, Great Adventure.  More info on all of these and the bands playing them on shows page.

Shadows Lie

Rising from the New York City underground, the music of Shadows Lie is a dark, intense blend of heavy guitars reminiscent of Staind, Portishead-like electronics, Days of the New type acoustic guitars, and vocal stylings ranging from Tori Amos to Incubus. The songwriting is distinctive and intensely emotional yet concise and mature at the same time.

Diablo Royale

With a workman-like approach the members of Diablo Royale have established themselves as a staple in the New York City rock scene and have extended their reach as far as the Midwest. Currently working on their second release, plans are in the works to continue touring the U.S. and parts of the world as far as the Philippines in 2009. Sweet Leaf sums it up perfectly, “We’re looking to infect the masses with our brand of rock ‘n’ roll!”

13th Floor

These four guys live to play music. 13th Floor is an original alternative rock band located in the lower east side of Manhattan. If asked to describe their sound you may get the response “We are the unwanted love child of Stone Temple Pilots and Alice in Chains”.
